Final Manuscript Preparation

Once a manuscript has been accepted for the publication, the authors will be notified by the JPE Editorial board. At that point, a special format will be required for the publication. Your final manuscript for the publication must contain author biographies and photos and be saved in MS-Word (‘.doc’ file). Before submitting your final manuscript, please check the template file ‘Template File for Publication’ below and format your manuscript accordingly. Submit your final manuscript and the signed copyright agreement form to the JPE online manuscript submission system with your author’s account and also send it to the Managing Editor by e-mail at editor@kipe.or.kr
Style of a Manuscript for Publication for the MS-Word format
- Paper size: 21cm x 27.8cm
- Page Margin: Top & Bottom - 2 cm / Left & Right - 1.8 cm / Header - 1.8 cm
- Formatting: Double columns with 1.15 spaced (main text - Times New Roman, 9.5pt fonts)
- Length: 6-9 pages would be a preferable length for the JPE manuscripts.
- Body: All figures, tables, equations and captions should be clear and viewable. Articles of JPE are printed in black and white. But JPE journal encourages the use of color for the online version.
- Author Information: Please include authors' name, affiliation, position, biography, and photo (size: 2.6cm(h) x 2.2cm(w)) in the manuscript.
For details of formation guidelines, you can download the template file for the publication in the menu below. After proofreading and editing of the final manuscript by the KIPE and prior to publication, the KIPE will send the page proof to the corresponding author for the final editing. The publication fee will be assessed at this moment.
